Seneca View Estate combines Seneca View Villa and Seneca View Bungalow into one exclusive stay on the same property above the east side of Seneca Lake, with panoramic lake and vineyard views, two private hot tubs, a seasonal plunge pool, high-speed fiber internet with eero mesh Wi-Fi, and exceptional walking access to wineries and breweries along the Seneca Lake Wine Trail.
Seneca View Estate is especially well suited for family reunions, milestone celebrations, graduation weekends, bachelorette weekends, girls' getaways, couples traveling together, multi-family vacations, small retreats, select corporate offsites, and wedding-party lodging where guests want exclusive access to both homes and the full Seneca View property.
Two Homes, One Private Group Stay
Seneca View Estate is not a separate third house. It is the Villa and Bungalow rented together for one group, providing exclusive use of both homes and the Seneca View property.
The Villa provides the primary kitchen, large gathering spaces, multiple living areas, four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a private hot tub, and the seasonal plunge pool. The detached Bungalow adds a separate living area, fireplace, kitchenette, one private queen bedroom, separate sleeping loft, one bathroom, private hot tub, deck, and lake and vineyard views.
Together, the Estate offers five bedrooms plus a separate sleeping loft across the two homes, four bathrooms, and accommodations for up to 16 registered overnight guests.
Bedrooms & Sleeping Spaces
The Villa sleeps up to 12 registered overnight guests across four bedrooms. Its sleeping arrangement includes one king bed, two queen beds, one full-over-full bunk bed, and two twin beds in a sleeping loft accessed by ship’s ladder from the bunk room.
The Bungalow is best suited for 2 adults, with sleeping space for up to 4 registered overnight guests. It includes one queen bed in a private bedroom and two twin floor mattresses in a separate sleeping loft accessed by ship’s ladder.
Walk to Wineries & Breweries
Two Goats Brewing is approximately 150 feet from the Bungalow and about 250 feet from the Villa. From Two Goats, Atwater Vineyards is just under 500 feet farther, and Chateau LaFayette Reneau is just under 750 feet beyond Atwater. In total, Chateau LaFayette Reneau is approximately 0.3 miles from Seneca View by the walking route.
Additional nearby stops include JR Dill Winery at approximately 0.4 miles, Grist Iron Brewing at approximately 0.6 miles, Hector Hideaway at approximately 0.7 miles, and Forge Cellars at approximately 0.8 miles. These additional destinations require walking along and crossing NY-414, so they are not as easy or leisurely a walk as Two Goats, Atwater, and Chateau LaFayette Reneau.
Outdoor Living & Amenities
Estate guests have exclusive use of the Seneca View property, including two private hot tubs, the Villa's seasonal plunge pool, fire pits, outdoor dining and seating areas, decks, lake and vineyard views, the pond waterfall feature, putting green, and designated outdoor spaces associated with both homes.
The combination of two homes gives larger groups room to gather together while still providing separate spaces for privacy, quiet time, or different schedules during the stay.
Location & Surrounding Activity
Seneca View Estate is located along the Seneca Lake Scenic Byway in the heart of the Wine Trail. Vehicle traffic can be heard from the property.
Two Goats Brewing is located very close to Seneca View and is one of the Estate’s most convenient walkable amenities. As an operating brewery with outdoor gathering areas, music, conversation, and other sounds associated with patrons and brewery activity can be heard from the property during operating hours and special events.
The surrounding area is also an active agricultural and vineyard region. During portions of the grape-growing and harvest season, nearby vineyards may use propane-powered bird deterrent cannons or other agricultural equipment. These sounds can be heard from the property and are outside our control.
High-Speed Internet & Remote Work
Both homes have high-speed fiber internet with eero mesh Wi-Fi. The mesh network extends coverage into many outdoor guest areas around the property.
The Villa includes a dedicated workspace, and the Bungalow's console table can serve as a simple workspace for guests who need to work remotely.
Explore Seneca Lake & Watkins Glen
Seneca View Estate is located in Hector/Burdett on the east side of Seneca Lake, close to Watkins Glen, Watkins Glen State Park, waterfalls, hiking trails, lakeside dining, wineries, breweries, and other popular Finger Lakes attractions.
The Estate works especially well for groups who want a large private home base near Watkins Glen while also staying directly in the heart of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail.
Important Note About Guests & Property Use
Seneca View Estate is designed for registered overnight guests only, with a maximum occupancy of 16 guests. Celebratory stays such as bachelorette weekends, girls' getaways, milestone trips, family gatherings, retreats, and offsites are welcome when they remain within the approved guest count.
Additional daytime guests, ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, brunches, open-house style gatherings, or other organized on-site events are not permitted.
Limited vendor access, such as photography, hair and makeup, private chef, or similar services for registered overnight guests, may be considered with prior written approval. Vendor access is not guaranteed and must be disclosed before booking.
The property is not designed for weddings, receptions, tented events, or open-house style gatherings.
