About Us

We’re a husband-and-wife team who fell in love with the Finger Lakes long before we ever imagined hosting guests here. After years of spending summers on Seneca Lake and returning to the area whenever we could, we purchased our first vacation rental in 2014 and eventually made the Finger Lakes our full-time home in 2019.

What began as a single vacation home has grown into VRFLX, a small collection of owner-run properties designed to help guests experience the very best of the region we love. Along the way, we traded corporate careers for hospitality, allowing us to focus full-time on creating memorable stays while carefully overseeing the care, upkeep, and continual improvement of each home.

Today, we’re raising our two kids and one very spoiled dog in the Finger Lakes, and we’re grateful to share this special place with guests from across the country. Whether you’re visiting for the wineries, breweries, lakes, waterfalls, or simply time with family and friends, we hope you’ll feel as connected to this region as we do.
