Guests can walk to Smith Memorial Park and the seasonal swim beach, then return home to enjoy a private hot tub, seasonal plunge pool, oversized fire pit, putting green, 300-square-foot arcade, and high-speed fiber internet with eero mesh Wi-Fi.

Nestled among the trees near Seneca Lake, Seneca Lake Access offers a unique combination of privacy, recreation, and convenience. Whether you're planning a family vacation, lake getaway, wine country adventure, or relaxing retreat with friends, this spacious A-frame provides an inviting home base for exploring Seneca Lake, Watkins Glen, and the surrounding Finger Lakes.
Lake Access via Smith Memorial Park
One of the property's most distinctive features is its proximity to Smith Memorial Park. The park entrance is approximately 750 feet from the house by the walking route. From there, the seasonal swim beach is about another 500 feet inside the park, for a total walking distance of approximately 1,250 feet, or about 0.24 mile, from the home.
At Smith Memorial Park, guests will find a seasonal lifeguarded swim beach, dock, boat launch, picnic areas, grills, playgrounds, and lake views.
Seneca Lake Access is a private wooded vacation home near the lake. It is not a lakefront property.
This setup gives guests convenient public access to Seneca Lake while still providing the privacy and space of a larger wooded retreat.
Designed for Family Fun
The outdoor spaces are designed for making memories together. Spend your days at the lake, then return home to soak in the private hot tub, cool off in the seasonal plunge pool, gather around the oversized fire pit, enjoy dinner on the outdoor dining deck, or challenge family and friends to a friendly putting competition.
Inside, the lower level has become a guest favorite, featuring a spacious bonus room with custom boat beds and additional sleeping accommodations alongside a 300-square-foot arcade with games for both kids and adults.
Comfortable A-Frame Living
The home offers comfortable accommodations across three levels, highlighted by a vaulted great room with a wall of windows, spacious gathering areas, and a large eat-in kitchen designed for bringing people together.
With three conventional bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a basement bonus room with additional sleeping accommodations, multiple indoor and outdoor living spaces, and room to spread out, Seneca Lake Access is well suited for families, groups of friends, and extended Finger Lakes stays.
Bedrooms & Sleeping Spaces
Seneca Lake Access sleeps up to 12 registered overnight guests across three bedrooms and a separate basement bonus room.
The bonus room sleeps up to 6 guests with two twin boat beds, two trundle beds, and a queen sleeper sofa. This lower-level space also includes seating and TV space and connects conveniently to the arcade area.
High-Speed Internet & Remote Work
Seneca Lake Access has high-speed fiber internet with eero mesh Wi-Fi. The mesh network extends coverage into many outdoor guest areas, including the pool, fire-pit, and deck areas.
The home also includes a dedicated workspace for guests who need to work remotely during their Finger Lakes stay.
Location & Surrounding Activity
Seneca Lake Access is located in an active Finger Lakes agricultural and vineyard region. During portions of the grape-growing and harvest season, nearby vineyards may use propane-powered bird deterrent cannons or other agricultural equipment. These sounds can occasionally be heard from the property and are outside our control.
Because the home is located near Seneca Lake and Smith Memorial Park, guests may also occasionally hear recreational lake activity such as boats or personal watercraft, particularly during warmer months and busy lake weekends.

Seneca Lake Access is convenient to Watkins Glen, Watkins Glen State Park, wineries, breweries, waterfalls, hiking trails, and many of the Finger Lakes' most popular attractions.
The property works especially well for guests who want to combine convenient lake access and family-friendly amenities with a private wooded setting and easy access to Watkins Glen and the Seneca Lake region.

A clean and updated home with amazing lake views. There are many wineries along the main road, so this home is definitely an ideal location for someone looking to do wine tastings.
